Levels of difficulty

Levels of difficulty are indicated for each of the round trips by the Roman numerals I-V

I: Suitable for non-walkers and trips with small children (pram, pushchair, wheelchair)

II: Suitable for normal walkers and trips with small children over three years of age

III: Suitable for normal walkers and trips with children of at least six years of age

IV: Suitable for good walkers and trips with children of least ten years of age

V: Suitable for adults in good shape and trips with children of at least twelve years of age

Walking along beaches can be tiring. Categories I and II have no such stretches. The stretches on the actual Coastal Route that are suitable for prams, pushchairs and wheelchairs are indicated on the maps.

Nota bene:
ALWAYS REMEMBER to have drinking water, sound shoes or hiking boots and ‘emergency rations’ (raisins, nuts, peanuts, dates, pistachio nuts, chocolate, almonds, etc.) with you.
